1. Who we are
Bagel (the "Service") is operated by the Bagel team. Contact: hello@majo.app.
2. What we collect
- Account: email, name, password hash (handled by Supabase Auth).
- Profile: career stage, graduation year, field of study, location, job preferences.
- Resumes: files you upload and the parsed structured content.
- Application activity: jobs you save, apply to, tailor, or track.
- Usage analytics: pages visited, features used (anonymized via PostHog).
3. How we use it
To provide matching, tailoring, ATS scoring, cover letters, interview prep, and the application tracker. We share resume content with our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate tailored output. We do not sell your data.
4. Third parties
- Supabase — auth and database hosting.
- Anthropic — AI tailoring, scoring, and generation.
- Adzuna — job search API.
- CareerOneStop and USAJOBS — public-sector job search data.
- Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and SmartRecruiters — employer job-board data.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Resend — transactional email.

5. Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion removes your profile, resumes, applications, and saved jobs from our database. Recruiters who own a company must transfer or remove that company before deleting the owner account.
6. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active. AI-generated artifacts (tailored resumes, cover letters) are cached for up to 7 days to control costs. Deletion is permanent.
7. Children
Bagel is not intended for anyone under 16.
8. Changes
If we materially change this policy we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
